Meetings A young man walks down the path of a dirt rode, it is raining and the path is covered in mud. The man can only be about 17, yet he has silver hair. It has always been silver, ever sense he turned 13. The young man's hair goes down to his chin, but he pulls it back. The oddest aspect of the man are his eyes. His left one is a dark blue, but the other.. the other is a dark crimson. This is hard to see however, because the man is looking down at the ground. The young man seams to be ignoring the rain. He simply seams to walk along the muddy trail. The beads of water that land on his head roll of and splash on to his black jacket slowly getting absorbed into the fabric. The young man finally walks towards what looks like a town, or what is left of it. The entire town has been burnt to the ground. The fires that have burned it, have stopped. All the remains of the town is blackened and charred wood that use to be houses. The rain continues to poor down, mixing the ashes into the mud. The young man doesn't seem to notice this and keeps walking ahead into the center of the town , his shoes leaving their prints into the soft mud. There, in the center of the town, curled up in the mud is a little girl. The girl can not be older then 6, she has short purple hair, the girl is crying softly. The young man walks over to the girl and hunches over next to her. He notices that the girl is clutching a red ribbon in her hands, her firsts clenched tightly. The young man speaks "Why are you out here?" The little girls turns her head and opens her eyes revealing them to be a jade green. "So I can die" He doesn't seam at all shocked by this answer and simply asks "Why do you want to die?" The little girl speaks in a cold and soft voice. "I don't have a brother, he's dead...." He nods what she has just said meaning no more to him then if she has told him that her favorite color was green. "So you want to join him?" She shakes her head, eyes full of tears.. " I won't be able to be with him.. I won't be able to join him.. it will be my punishment" "What do you mean by that?" "I'm gonna go to hell." Her last comment appears to have surprised him and he raises an eyebrow. "Why would a young girl like you go to hell? What sins have you committed at such a young age?" She speaks again, her voice barely above a whisper. "They're all gone... its all my fault..".. the rain drops splash off her face. "I didn't mean too..." The young man strokes her hair and nods. "What did you do?" She shakes her head again "I don't remember.." He shrugs "Then if you can't remember it's wasn't truly your fault, you just have to try to try not to do it again." The little girl nods her head slowly. The rain continues to poor down, water mixing with mud. He continues to stroke her short hair. She speaks again "Why do things we believe in have to die?" He pauses, "Excuse me?" "When the bad thing happened.. no one came to stop it. I...I thought that someone would help..." She trails off, the young man sighs. "There is nothing in this world worth believing in" She looks at him rather surprised "Huh?" "To hope that someone would help.. things such as love.. companionship.. its foolish to believe in anything..". He seams to concentrate a moment and the little girl falls asleep. Tears still roll down her face and are mixed in with the raindrops that continue to fall on her. The young man continues to concentrate, and learns of the true nature of the events that have aroused. "I see..." He pulls out a handgun from his coat and aims it at the sleeping girl's head. "I should end this.." He pauses and puts the gun away again. "No... her power... when it has truly manifested.. then.. then it can end.." He's mouth gives just a hint of a smiles as he strokes the young girl's wet, purple hair. "Such a pretty little girl shouldn't remember such things... It will prevent you from fulfilling the burden that have been placed upon you." He closes his eyes for a moment and pulls his hand away from the girl's head. Slowly he stands up in the rain as it continues to come down on him, soaking his cloths. The young man walks off leaving the little girl to sleep in the rain and mud. He doesn't even look back. Disclaimer: These characters are mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!
